We’re currently recruiting for the position of: Social Media Coordinator.

As Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting social media strategy and leading implementation and results analysis.

You will be an important part of an accomplished communications team with a strong knowledge of the agri-food sector and a track record for creating impactful communications. You will work in concert with Account Managers, the Creative Director and others to create cohesive brands and campaigns.

Status: Full Time

Location: Guelph, Ontario. In office 3 days/week.

Reporting to: Client Director

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Social media strategy and planning – Working closely with account managers and clients to support strategy and develop social media plans that are integrated with an overall campaign to deliver on client goals.
  • Social media implementation – Posting, engagement, scheduling, boosting, and coordinating organic and paid ad campaigns.
  • Social media content creation – Create content for multiple social platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok.
  • Social media result analysis – Measurement, analysis and recommendation development.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • University or college degree in business, communications or marketing is required.
  • Demonstrated work experience in a social media role is required.
  • Experience with design software such as Canva or Adobe is required.
  • Work experience in the agri-food sector is an asset but not required.

SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Content creation skills including copywriting, graphic design and video production.
  • Ability to interpret campaign performance data and analytics to advise strategy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and embrace new ideas and tools.
  • Strong organizational, project management skills including demonstrated time management skills.
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Powerpoint, Excel required.
  • Experience with Project Management Software ClickUp an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian agriculture sector an asset.

This position may require some travel to attend client meetings, conferences/tradeshows, education programs and other events.

Salary Range: $48,000 – $60,000
